Operating principale:
Single screw silo unloader. The screw is submerged
in the product near the bottom of the silo. Through
sweeping action of the screw over the whole base
of the silo, the product is drawn to a central
discharge point where it can be collected on/by
any suitable handling equipement. The screws sweeps
through 360 deg.
Design:
The machine is mounted within a fabricated bridge
(beam) spanning the diameter of the silo. All
the mechanisms - the drive and the transmission
are located the beam with the screw operating
below. The beam is large enough to allow access
for inspection and maintenance of all mechanisms
and the screw, even with the silo full of product.
The machine is of heavy duty construction. The
stuctural elements are made of heavy gauge plate
work. All mechanisms are heavy duty and generously
sized.
