Operating principale:
Single screw silo unloader. the screw is submerged
in the product near the bottom of the silo. Through
sweeping action of the screw over the whole base
of the silo, the product is drawn to a central
discharge point where it can be collected on/by
any suitable handling equipement. The screws sweeps
through 360 deg.
Design:
The machine is mounted within the silo. All the
mechanisms - the drive and the transmission are
located under the conical housing in the center
of the silo. the housing is mounted on a slewing
beam and it rotates together with the sweeping
movement of the screw. The sweeping and rotating
motion of the screw are powered by two hydrolic
drives. Heavy duty eals and fittings, as weel
as design configuration of the machine minimises
the risk of contamination of the product with
hydrolic fluids. The mechanisms and the drives
are accessible for inspection and maintenance
even with the silo full of product. The machine
is of heavy duty construction. The sctructure
elements are made of heavy duty and, generously
sized.
